Gaza’s Rafah border crossing with Egypt reopens for limited travel – latest updates

Rafah crossing in the south, which has largely been closed since May 2024, has reopened for those travelling on footEarlier, an Israeli defence official said the crossing could hold between 150 and 200 people altogether in both directions.
